General Questions

Users may download the Kulim Smart Parking app via Apple App Store or Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery.

The Kulim Smart Parking app comes in either Bahasa Malaysia or English.

To successfully run the Kulim Smart Parking app, users will need to have the following operating systems:

  • i. Andriod version 5.0 and above;
  • ii. iOS version 12.1 and above.

The Kulim Smart Parking app allows for multiple vehicles to be registered from a singular account. This also means that a single account can be used to pay for parking and/or monthly passes for multiple registered vehicles.

Users may access their respective Kulim Smart Parking account via the Kulim Smart Parking Portal to purchase monthly passes.

The Kulim Smart Parking app does not allow for any sort of parking space bookings. The app only allows users to find the nearest parking spaces, pay for parking/ purchase monthly passes, and pay for compounds.

Users who do not have access to smart devices can pay for their parking/purchase their monthly parking passes via the following:

  • i. Electronic parking coupons (e-Coupons) which are sold through parking agents.
  • ii. Payments can be made with the help of friends and family.

Users can access the Kulim Smart Parking portal with whatever browser they have on their computer/laptop. However, for best results, users are encouraged to use:

  • i. Chrome Version 73
  • ii. Internet Explorer 11

Data Security and User Support

All public user data is protected under the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). Kulim Smart Parking app does not share public user information with third parties.

Users can download the Kulim Smart Parking app into their new smartphone device and register using the user’s same phone number. The user’s account will then be safely restored.

Purchase Credit

The payment modes available to purchase credit your Kulim Smart Parking app are Credit/ Debit Card, FPX & e-Wallet.

The maximum value for each transaction is RM200.00. Users can make multiple transactions without limit.

The Kulim Smart Parking app does not allow for any refunds of any made transactions within the app.

Monthly Pass

No, a single monthly pass purchase in the Kulim Smart Parking app cannot be shared with multiple vehicles. The Kulim Smart Parking monthly pass behaves just as the physical monthly pass sticker before it. Each monthly pass purchased is unique, tied only to one vehicle.

Monthly passes are non-transferable, as the purchases are fixed with their designated licence plates.

The status can be checked through the ’Monthly Pass’ screen within the app.

Enforcers may conduct checks via their own smart devices.
